TableTopCon is the Gold Coast's homegrown celebration of everything tabletop — from board games and RPGs to miniatures, trading card games, and beyond. With Piece of Mind Puzzles coming on board, TableTopCon now also offers solo and pairs jigsaw puzzle races, and a 2-day Puzzle Hustle tournament!
Puzzle Hustle Tournament
A blend of jigsaw puzzles and strategy - Puzzle Hustle (also called Puzzle Chess) is a competitive game where two players compete against each other by completing the same jigsaw puzzle.
Players can only place one piece at a time on their turn, keeping track of time on a chess clock. Whoever has the most time remaining on their timer once the puzzle is complete, wins.

Our tournaments are run in two stages, one stage per day. Saturday’s Playoffs involve three+ rounds of Puzzle Hustle, with scores recorded to work out final standings. From there, our fastest participants move forward into the knockout round.
Sunday’s Knockouts will be head to head to crown the Puzzle Hustle Champion.

Speed Puzzling Races
Each puzzler will receive the same 300 piece (solo) or 500 piece (pairs) Ravensburger puzzle that you get to complete and take home.
With two races on each day, you can decide to puzzle solo or bring along friends or family and tackle a pairs puzzle together.
If you are already a converted speed puzzler, this is a great opportunity to bring along your board game loving friends in a very casual setting to give it a go.
You will have 90 minutes for the solo race and 2 hours for the pairs race to complete the puzzle. Any puzzler with pieces remaining must pack up at the end of the race. You still get to keep the puzzle!
