How it all started

Piece of Mind Puzzles started as a passion project — an Instagram account dedicated to speed puzzling. Joining the Puzzle community on Instagram (known as Puzzlegram!), the account was welcomed by puzzlers across the world. What began as a place to post timelapses of speed runs, it quickly grew into all things puzzling that it is today.

Moving from an Instagram to hosting events doesn’t sound like the most natural progression, but it does when you get to know our host and her experience in teaching and event management which works hand in hand with her puzzling passion.

In February 2025, Piece of Mind hosted their first event in West End, Brisbane to eager participants (some of which hadn’t completed a puzzle in years!).

A little about your host

Hi! I’m Rhianna, a speed puzzler and self-confessed puzzle nerd.

I have been doing jigsaw puzzles since I was little, but only started competing in speed puzzle competitions since 2022. Yes, you read that right. Speed puzzling is a thing!

I attend national competitions in Australia, and placed 7th in the country in 2023, and attended the world championships in Spain, placing 6th with my team, the Aussie All Stars. Keep your eye out for me in September 2025 as the Aussie All Stars return to Spain for the world championships. Our green and gold is hard to miss!

With my love for puzzles, alongside my event management and teaching experience, I am sure to host a smooth event for your community for puzzlers and non-puzzlers alike.
